# Bharat Electronics (BEL) Recruitment Process and Eligibility

Bharat Electronics (BEL), a defence PSU, recruits Probationary and Trainee Engineers through a Computer Based Test that is heavily branch-technical with some general aptitude, followed by an interview and document verification. There is negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer, and GATE is generally not required for the Probationary Engineer test.

3. **Document Verification** -- Final stage before offer.
