# Zoho Recruitment Process and Eligibility

Zoho runs a skills-first hiring process with no CGPA cutoff and backlogs allowed. Selection is long: a written aptitude and programming test, then a basic programming round, an advanced programming round (build a system from scratch), a technical interview and HR. Many rounds are pen and paper or hands-on coding rather than MCQs.

## Recruitment rounds, in order

1. **Written Aptitude and Programming** -- Aptitude section then a technical programming section, usually offline (pen and paper), answers written directly.
2. **Basic Programming Round** -- Write programs for around 5 questions in about 3 hours.
3. **Advanced Programming Round** -- Build one complete system from scratch in about 3 hours using C, C++ or Java.
4. **Technical Interview** -- Deep discussion on the programs written in the advanced round.
5. **HR Interview** -- Interpersonal skills, cultural fit and values.
