Frequently asked questions

How do I download my LinkedIn profile as a PDF?

On a computer, open your LinkedIn profile, click the Resources button (called More on some accounts) under your name, and choose Save to PDF. LinkedIn downloads a PDF of your profile that you can upload here.

Is the LinkedIn Optimizer free?

Yes. You can run it without signing up and see your score, section scores, missing keywords, the top fixes and a new headline for free. The full About rewrite, experience rewrites and pinned skills come with Astra Premium.

Do you log in to my LinkedIn account?

No. We never ask for your LinkedIn login and never post anything. You upload the PDF yourself, we read the text on our server, mask your email and phone, and nothing is saved.

Why are my photo and banner not scored?

LinkedIn's PDF export does not include your photo, banner, Featured section or posts, so we only score what is in the PDF. The checklist under your result covers those parts.
