The Role: About 70% of our users have never coded before. They are small business owners, solo founders, and operators who had an idea and no engineer to build it with. We are hiring a creator to be the face of Emergent on video. You will appear on camera in most of our short-form video, and you will also help decide what gets made. This is a creator role, not a presenter role, so you will be involved from the idea stage through to the edit. Most of our audience is in the US and Europe. You will be based in Bangalore and working with our team here, but the content is made for those markets. You should be comfortable on camera for an international audience and familiar with how creators there talk, joke, and hold attention. This is a full-time role reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing.
