Paytm’s mission is to serve half a billion Indians and bring them to the mainstream economy with the help of technology About the Role We're looking for a Product Management to own and scale our UPI product charter — one of the largest and most consequential product surfaces in Indian fintech. This is a role for someone who is equal parts strategic operator and hands-on builder — someone who can set a multi-year vision for UPI and translate it into a roadmap that ships. We want someone who thinks in systems and platforms, is deeply fluent in consumer behavior and data, and is genuinely excited about applying modern AI — agents, LLMs, personalization, and automation — to solve payment problems at massive scale. You'll own outcomes across the full UPI stack: P2P and P2M payments, onboarding, mandates/AutoPay, payment success rates, fraud & risk experience, and next-gen AI-powered payment journeys — while partnering closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Risk, Compliance, NPCI/bank partnerships, and Business teams. Key Responsibilities -->Define the vision and multi-year strategy for Paytm's UPI product suite, and translate it into a roadmap that balances scale, reliability, growth, and innovation. -->Drive core UPI metrics — transaction success rate, activation, retention, P2P/P2M growth, and market share — with full ownership of the P&L levers that matter. -->Champion an AI-first product culture: identify where Generative AI, ML-based risk models, conversational interfaces, and intelligent automation can simplify journeys, improve payment success, reduce fraud, and cut operational load. -->Be the voice of the customer — using consumer research, funnel analytics, and cohort data to challenge assumptions and prioritize ruthless
