Sales Engineer (SLED, K-12)

About the Position Rubrik is looking for a Sales Engineer focused on our SLED K-12 sector. In this role, you will partner with our K-12 Account Executives to serve educational institutions within your assigned region. You will be responsible for evangelizing, positioning, and architecting Rubrik's hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management and cyber resilience platform to address the unique data security, compliance, and budget requirements of K-12 school. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and direction to SLED customers, K-12 IT leaders, and internal staff in designing fully integrated data protection and cyber resilience solutions. Architectural Guidance: Demonstrate subject matter expertise on Rubrik’s products, distributed architectures, cloud data management, backup/disaster recovery, and competitive storage offerings. Solution Consulting: Act as a trusted technical advisor to develop and propose solutions aligned with the specific operational, regulatory, and technical requirements of K-12 and local public sector accounts. Demos Presentations: Deliver compelling technical and sales presentations, solution architectures, and live product demonstrations to channel partners, IT staff, school district administration, and CxO-level leadership. Opportunity Qualification: Qualify sales opportunities in terms of customer technical requirements, competitive landscape, decision-making processes, and public sector funding cycles (e.g., E-Rate / school budget windows). Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with account executives, channel partners, and corporate resources to support regional revenue goals and drive account-level technical engagement.
