This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Sr. Director of Software Engineering in the platform convergence department. In this role, you will design and scale high-performance backend services to drive the evolution of our converged platform. You will collaborate across teams to build robust distributed systems while mentoring engineers to uphold technical excellence. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Designing and implementing scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Go, integrating with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis Writing and maintaining unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code quality while monitoring, debugging, and optimizing system performance Mentoring junior engineers, fostering their growth and success, and actively participating in code reviews to uphold best practices
