Amazon Travel and Events Transactions Analyst, Strategic Programs Management

• Process daily billing transactions across travel categories (air, hotel, car, rail, meetings & events) • Perform routine statement reconciliations and flag discrepancies for review • Track refunds, credits, and cancelled ticket processing to completion • Validate data accuracy in TMC feeds and internal billing systems • Support vendor query resolution and respond to standard billing inquiries • Assist with supplier onboarding documentation and entity setup tasks • Maintain transaction logs and ensure timely data entry • Support payment card transaction monitoring and exception flagging • Follow established workflows and escalate non-standard issues to Senior Analyst • Support GRC controls validation including transaction-level compliance testing, exception identification, and documentation of control evidence to ensure payment operations meet internal audit requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data to inform decision-making processes PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience at Amazon, or experience with domestic or international travel coordination - Experience in accounts receivable or account payable, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis - Experience with domestic or international travel coordination, or experience with Microsoft Office products and applications - Experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment - Eagerness to learn and adapt to new AI tools and technologies to improve task
