AP Quality Control Manager II, Accounts Payable Quality Control

Quality Control Strategy & Governance - Own the APQC framework: sampling methodology, risk scoring, defect taxonomy, and escalation protocols across all AP verticals - Design and maintain controllership health metrics — connecting SOPs, policy documents, and tech controls into a unified risk-monitoring system - Define quality KPIs (defect rates, audit coverage, SLA adherence, false-positive rates) and hold the team and operations accountable to them - Conduct and oversee internal QC audits; represent AP Quality in external and cross-functional audit reviews People Management & Team Development - Lead, coach, and develop a team of quality analysts and auditors across multiple AP verticals - Set clear goals, provide regula BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer, or experience in finance roles - 5+ years of people management leading teams of 20 experience, or experience in problem solving and delivering results - Experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL, or Tableau, or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field - Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals - Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators - Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements - Experience in wri PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - Experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, Sagemaker, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, and EC2 - Experience using Lean Process Improvement, Six Sigma methodologies or related performance metrics/process improvements to increase efficiency within processes, forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics - 5+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account
