About company
• Providing ongoing legal counseling and advise on a wide range of legal areas, such as data privacy, technology law, company secretarial and regulatory compliance; • Support development, review, and maintenance of privacy arrangements including data sharing agreements, privacy policies, notices, consent frameworks and internal SOPs. • Monitor regulatory developments in data protection and assess their impact on the business. • Provide privacy and data protection advice for new products, features, and business initiatives. • Project management skills will be an added advantage. • Excellent ability to analyze and assess business processes, understand business requirements, draft scope of contract, etc. Ability to function autonomously yet communicates laterally and upwardly with ease. • Strong legal and business judgment. • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset to effectively communicate and coordinate complex issues and projects with diverse levels of management and employees. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of legal experience - LL.B. (undergraduate law degree) from a recognized university in India - Associate Member (ACS) with Institute of Company Secretaries India (ICSI) with a valid membership with ICSI. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work - Experience working with financial services partners
