• Own end-to-end delivery of Risk Initiatives aligned to broader Team objectives. • Design, maintain, and update risk mitigation policies and controls across all customer interactions — onboarding journey, credit and fraud underwriting, and customer lifecycle management • Create and own a lending portfolio governance framework, including data models and reports, leveraging SQL, Python, Excel, and dashboarding tools • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and propose solutions, maintaining risk appetite and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements • Communicate complex operational findings and strategic recommendations clearly to a variety of internal and external audiences, including senior leadership BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of data scientist or similar role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling and communication experience - 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience in advanced data analysis using Excel, Python, or SQL - 2+ years of experience defining and implementing process and policy improvement initiatives that impact credit & fraud risk, using data and metrics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field - 2+ years of risk management experience, specifically in unsecured short-term lending such as BNPL, credit cards, consumer durable financing, etc. within the consumer lending category - 1+ year of experience driving end-to-end consumer lending portfolio management and stakeholder management
