Team Leadership & Development: - Lead and develop a high-performing team of Commissioning Engineers, with broad responsibility to hire, build, and manage team performance. - Create a vision for the team and set priorities aligned with organisational goals. - Define the organisational structure to meet short-term and long-range business requirements. Technical Expertise & Standards - Understand the technology and lifecycle of data center mechanical and electrical infrastructure - Utilise knowledge of standards, related disciplines, contractual and business acumens to develop strategies to future proof organization intent. - Create standards around which others will operate and build consensus across the organization. Execution & Process Improvement - Identify key value drivers that contribute to commissioning success and lead the development of process improvement strategies aligned with organisational goals. - Fix broken processes, convert proven concepts into mechanisms, and iterate existing mechanisms to im BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology, or Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) - Experience in construction, or experience working in a data center or mission critical facility (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.) - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 3+ years of people leadership experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience setting metric driven goals to improve a department or an organization - Experience in cost/benefit analysis of project proposals - Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions, or experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
