About company
Configure and maintain device settings, collaborating with Controls Engineering and Software teams on sequence of operations. Ensure accurate system configuration management across sites. Deploy software updates and manage controller provisioning. Deliver timely and successful software deployments with minimal service disruptions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Amazon Control System components, including mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Quickly diagnose and resolve incidents impacting system functionality and data center operations. Work cross-functionally with teams like CDS, Operations, and Software Development to ensure successful control system deployment and operation. Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills. Investigate and resolve commissioning observations related to Amazon Control Systems, escalating issues as needed. Respond to commissioning observations within SLAs, prioritizing critical issues. Document processes, maintain run-books, and contribute to continuous improvements of Amazon Control Systems support practices. Enhance knowledge sharing and drive process enhancements. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Experience in vendor management - Experience in a data center or other critical environment - Experience in data center engineering or operations - Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of construction or project management experience
