Financial Analyst, FOAA

FOAA is seeking a Finance Analyst to support our VAT Accounting team (Indirect Tax). Key Roles and Responsibilities are: 1. Perform/Support the month end activities which include closing of sub ledgers, journal preparation, general ledger account reconciliations, reporting and balance sheet account analysis. 2. Prepare month end Flux analysis for all P&L and Balance sheet accounts and share with Stakeholders along with the analysis on the reasons for the changes. 3. Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and knowledg BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience using data to influence business decisions - CA with 0-4 years of post qualification experience in Month end closing of Books of accounts/working on various sub-ledgers/Accounting Knowledge/Balance Sheet Reconciliation, GST/VAT (Indirect tax) and Reporting activities. - CA with 0-4 years of post qualification experience in Month end closing of Books of accounts/working on various sub-ledgers/Accounting Knowledge/Balance Sheet Reconciliation, GST/VAT (Indirect tax) and Reporting activities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills - Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership - Experience with MS Office, in particular MS Excel - GST or VAT (Indirect tax) knowledge in accounting/compliance.
