Network Development Engineer, Corporate Network Engineering

As a Network Development Engineer working within Amazon Corporate Network you will. • Automating the deployment of network devices gateways using infrastructure as a code across all of our network fabrics using automation such as CDK, Python. • Be responsible for automating the deployment of network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that supports AWS services. • Be responsible for designing and maintaining the next generation of Security/Edge network using Cloud based technologies such as AWS CloudWAN, Transit Gateway,NAT gateways , ANF, DX Gateways, Lambda and other virtual Gateways to serve 500+ offices. • Deploy, scale and automate our network across many Office and CPOP locations. This includes existing footprints and new locations. • Work closely with our automation teams in defining the platforms and frameworks that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume. • Create and review documentation and process regarding network. implementation/deployments, recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc. • Leads design, network/code and security reviews across teams to identify risks and prevent classes of bugs prior to production release. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 2+ years of major internet routing and switching protocols experience - 2+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience - 2+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience - Basic Knowledge of RF /Survey, RF Planning and Optimization. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with IP networking fundamentals and TCP/IP, UDP, DNS & DHCP - Experience working with networks, IT infrastructure, or system integration - Experience in Linux and Networking protocols, or experience in web security and experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP - Knowledge of wireless security - .1x, RADIUS, WPA2, EAP-TLS, PSK, general PKI concepts
