NW Deployment Build Manager, Global Network Delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services designs, plans, and delivers all AWS global infrastructure. The Global Network Delivery (GND) team within Infrastructure Services is responsible for delivering network capacity across new and existing data centre builds globally. GND sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering, capacity planning, and physical build execution; translating demand signals into commissioned network capacity that AWS customers and services depend on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. We at Amazon Data Services India Private Limited BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time - Knowledge of project management tools and software - 10+ years of experience in data centre network infrastructure, structured cabling, or network deployment - Strong working knowledge of network deploy processes including vendor management, resource management - Develop, improve, and share deploybest practices across the region and with peers globally PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience and examples of developing engineers and building successful teams experience - Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions - Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Networking Engineering), or experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologi
