Principal Software Engineer, Prime Video & Studios CoreTech

PVXT is currently expanding its team and projects in Bengaluru , spanning across X-Ray, playback services, live technologies, player and client testing and other foundational technologies. It is looking for a PE who can play the role of a tech leader, provide technology oversight and help build a culture of engineering and operational excellence. The PE will also closely work with other global Prime Video teams to better understand the overall end-to-end tech stack and be able to provide the needed engineering and architecture guidance that fits into the overall PV vision and architecture. This is a cross-functional role that requires expertise across diverse domains, client and back-end technologies, large-scale distributed systems, and AI-based systems. The incumbent will provide local technology leadership and oversight for this multifaceted role. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • 10+ years' experience in software development • Experience in designing and building large-scale distributed systems • Experience as a hands-on practitioner using AI, including, GenAI coding and workflow for analysis and operational excellence PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Domain expertise in client technologies and video technologies is an advantage but not required
