Procurement Program Manager, Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS)

• Lead process improvement initiatives / projects at regional and/or multi-regional scale • Act as Manager proxy as required • Act as subject matter expert on related operational process: vendor onboarding, catalogs management, PR compliance checks, inventory planning, invoice on-hold resolution, purchasing operations • Perform weekly and monthly business reviews • Ensure adherence to Amazon’s global spend policy and driving compliance to Procurement policies and procedures. • Build effective stakeholder relationships - develop relationships with primary internal customers (local Operations leadership), external suppliers and other teams within respective market. • Drive effective delivery of metrics by leading / supporting projects and initiatives; identifying root cause of issues and corrective actions. • Assist with the development of new standards, procedures and solutions for the procurement operations. • Partner with other procurement leaders and teams on local or regional projects and init BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree - Experience in procurement - Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, operations, logistics, supply chain or engineering - Experience managing procurement teams with direct experience in supplier/supply chain management - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience with process improvement, Kaizan, and Six Sigma PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Speak, write, and read fluently in English and Italian - Experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business, IT or any other procurement related career - Master's degree or above in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics - 1+ years of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and analytical platforms, including but not limited to the ability to analyze data using pivots and V-Lookups experience
