Project Manager Construction, BOM

The Data Center CM will be responsible for: • Assist in project management and oversight of construction-related activities for new builds or general capital projects in Hydrabad area, under guidance from senior team members. • Support efforts to drive costs down and shorten schedules while maintaining quality. • Contribute to Construction Management for specific initiatives aimed at increasing the resiliency of our data centers. • Participate in reviews of construct-ability of electrical and mechanical systems and building designs associated with the construction of new data centers or the optimization of existing data centers. • Assist in creating project scope and equipment requirements, help with request for proposals, and capital requests. • Support total project quality by assisting with commissioning and integrated system testing, and helping oversee the execution of the project. • Help manage the Request for Information process during construction and coordinate construction administration with engineers. • Record and report key metrics to team members and management. • Learn to manage multiple projects concurrently, including new data center building and capital improvement projects associated with existing data centers. • Provide operational support of installed facilities, including review of procedures, best practices, and maintenance initiatives. • Develop leadership skills within the group and in internal and external teams that support the data center. • Travel to datacenter sites for electrical, mechanical system audits and reviews, construct-abilit BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Experience in vendor management - Experience in a data center or other critical environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of construction or project management experience - Experience in construction or project management - Knowledge of critical data center equipment
