Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks across the organization. •Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks. •Own the annual strategic planning cycles in partnership with senior leaders. Drive key reporting mechanisms inclusive of business reviews. • Define controls and processes for our new businesses and adapt/drive new best practices for existing businesses. •Monitoring, and reporting with the goal of improving efficiencies, compliance policies, and risk management. •Influence leaders and teams across teams, challenging proposed solutions while advocating for the customers. •Challenge assumptions of why a process or mechanism failed, ask the questions to get to the root cause of the problem and work for a solve. •Establish and cultivate a strong working relationship with multiple teams across Amazon to drive process improvement. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - Master's degree or equivalent - Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship - Experience in internal audit and risk management or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
