SDE II, Amazon Now

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable seller-facing applications and backend services for the Amazon Now Seller Experience platform - Develop robust backend services and APIs that power seller onboarding, accounting, S3P upsell, and selection intelligence features - Collaborate with Senior SDEs, Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define technical solutions that solve seller problems at scale - Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Amazon's engineering best practices - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions - Own the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and operations - Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and seller experience - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the engineering bar across the team - Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cycles BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - 2+ years of building complex software systems experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
