Security & Loss Prevention Expert, Worldwide Operations Security

• Drive and implement site-level security improvements and process optimization initiatives • Support resilience of our business operations by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for sites within your area of responsibility • Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities (e.g., loss, associate experience, process improvement) and define appropriate mitigating actions while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards as well as Amazon global security standards • Serve as point of contact for and coordinate measures to manage risk with local management and external parties (e.g., law enforcement agencies and industry associations) on all security-related matters • Own Security and Loss Prevention-related projects on the local, regional, and country level BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance, or similar - Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment - A degree or degree equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Associate's degree or above, or Advanced technical degree - Experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as access control/intrusion detection and CCTV surveillance systems - Experience in retail, warehouse, or manufacturing is preferred - Experience working with data and analytics - Valid and active driver's license - Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
