Security Operations Manager, GSOC, Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS)

• Lead 24/7 GSOC shift operations, ensuring timely triage, escalation, and resolution of incidents impacting life safety, operational continuity, and Amazon’s brand. • Provide timely notifications, situation reports, and executive briefings to global stakeholders • Ensure shift operational excellence by maintaining ownership of performance, achieving established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and driving consistent execution of policies and procedures • Partner with Security, Operations, HR, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), Legal, Communications and other internal stakeholders to coordinate effective incident response and business continuity support. • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Operations Security Specialists by setting clear expectations, providing regular coaching and feedback, and fosteri BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience - 3+ years of people management experience - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint) - Experience in critical incident management, emergency response and business continuity within operations or logistics environments - Ability to use multiple software applications simultaneously while managing critical incidents - Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience leading people in a Security/Emergency Operations Center environment - Military/intelligence/law enforcement/geopolitical risk analysis experience - • Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CBCP, CEM, or equivalent. - • Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to write clearly and succinctly for senior leadership - • Experience in leading and developing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced operational environments
