Senior Software Development Engineer, Amazon Cross Border Tech

Design and develop scalable software solutions and services that enable sellers to operate effectively across multiple countries and markets Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, business, and operations to understand seller needs and translate them into technical implementations Build tools and systems that simplify complex processes like customs handling, logistics coordination, and multi-currency transactions Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning to ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned with our platform's standards Iterate and improve existing systems based on seller feedback, performance metrics, and evolving business requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
