As part of the International Indirect Tax Compliance team, the Senior Tax Analyst will be required to: • Prepare, analyse, review and submit India GST returns and related filings; • Handle with GST registrations across various jurisdictions; • Manage GST compliance queries from Amazon businesses/ internal teams; • Lead in identifying areas of improvement and implement solutions for GST issues; • Build internal controls to ensure seamless compliance processes • Review month-end GST account reconciliations; • Manage internal and external audit support, including data analysis; • Provide GST compliance support to colleagues throughout the business and, in particular, Accounting groups and contributing and driving preparation of Tax Requirement Documents for tech teams; • Participate in cross-functional projects with a priority on automation and in-housing; • Partner in business growth and on-boarding of new entities to GST compliance processes. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department - professional tax, accounting or legal qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant (CA), Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) or similar) - 6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience a compliance focused tax role in a multinational and/or professional organization
