Snr. Civil Engineer, Design Engineering

- Develop and communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation before, during, and after construction. - Develop and maintain design standards, design prototypes, and template specifications related to site design. - Review Due Diligence assessments to determine site constraints, risks and develop investigation scopes. - Create, review, and release design consultant request for proposals. - Manage our external civil design consultants through the design and construction process. - Develop and review designs for grading, storm water, flood mitigation, utilities, and pavements. - Deep understanding of interdependent civil design elements to develop optimised earthworks and utilities designs and minimise the construction schedule. - Lead our internal modelling and documentation resources. - Coordinate with internal and external Architecture, Structure and MEP design engi BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 6+ years of project management or project lead work including RFQ/RFP process, selecting engineering teams, developing budgets, coordinating multiple consultant teams and facilitating meetings experience - Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region - Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities - Professional Engineering or Architectural License - Bachelor degree in civil engineering PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents - Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks - Experience managing and or coordinating projects in a fast pace environment - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service
