Software Dev Engineer II, RoW AIM TECH

Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, debug, deploy, maintain, document and deliver large-scale, highly distributed, real-time and management systems that are core to effectively managing the supply chain business. Use Java, Scala, object-oriented (OO) design patterns, NoSQL databases, and data modeling techniques. Design PB scale big-data processing solutions leveraging latest AWS solutions. Gather and analyze business and functional requirements, and translate business requirements into technical design specifications. o Serve as a key technical resource in the full development cycle. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Work with Senior and Principal Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers across multiple teams to design software solutions for optimizing supply chain management Work in an agile development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience - 3+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
