Software Development Engineer, Emerging Devices Software

- Design, implement, and maintain features for mobile applications (Android/iOS/React Native) and cloud services - Own key components of the system, contributing to architecture, implementation, and long-term maintainability - Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets production standards - Participate in technical design reviews, sprint planning, and project execution - Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-impact features - Investigate and resolve complex issues across the device-mobile-cloud stack - Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes, tools, and engineering practices BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Experience building and shipping cloud services or mobile apps PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's degree or equivalent - Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing - Experience with strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD workflows, and scalable system design - Exposure to cross-platform development, device integration, or consumer hardware
