You will collaborate with senior engineers (SDE-IIIs and L5s) to implement components of our 3-year architecture plans while gaining deeper understanding of system design and architectural patterns. You'll be responsible for driving individual projects from design to delivery, making data-driven decisions to balance technical debt with business needs. You will have opportunities to mentor SDE-I engineers on coding practices and technical implementation while receiving mentorship from senior team members to grow your technical and leadership skills. You'll work closely with SDMs and PMs to break down complex requirements into executable tasks and contribute to technical discussions that shape team-level solutions. Additionally, you'll be expected to demonstrate ownership of your work by maintaining high standards for code quality, participating in on-call rotations, and continuously improving our operational excellence. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
