1. Own the end-to-end technology stack for store launches, enabling rapid onboarding of new partner stores across cities at unprecedented speed and scale 2. Build and evolve catalog and selection management systems — curating city-specific assortments, managing per-store catalogs, and simplifying the seller experience for listing new items 3. Drive Under-the-Roof (UTR) technology — powering inventory management, picking, staging, and store operations workflows 4. Lead architecture decisions for systems that must scale reliably across hundreds of stores while maintaining sub-minute operational latencies 5. Recruit, mentor, and grow a team of SDEs fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and operational excellence 6. Partner closely with product, operations, and business teams to translate ambiguous business problems into crisp technical solutions 7. Establish engineering best practices, drive operational excellence (CI/CD, monitoring, on-call), and maintain a high quality bar BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 7+ years of engineering experience - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
