Software Development Manager, Selection Monitoring

As a member of the team, in this role, you will: * Work with Org leadership, Principal Engineers to define and drive the technical and architectural vision of Selection Monitoring’s External E-commerce source discovery and enrichment. * Build and launch scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available services and AI Agents that can solve complex problems in entity resolution, deduplication, classification, enrichments and 3rd party data integrations to automatically discovery, catalog, and refresh meta information and signals for millions of eCommerce websites worldwide. * Build and launch efficient storage solutions for managing large-scale datasets, ensuring optimal performance for both write-heavy ingestion and read-heavy analytical workloads. * Build and grow a team of high performing SDEs, and be responsible and invested in career growth of your team members. * Drive operational excellence initiatives and continuously improve quality bar for software delivered by the team. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
