Software Development Manager — Seller Fees Tech Amazon — Bangalore, India Are you an SDM who wants to lead a platform transformation — not just manage one? Seller Fees Tech (SFT) Bangalore is one of Amazon's newest engineering organizations, formed in October 2025 with a clear mandate: build and own the financial systems that power how over two million sellers are charged, incentivized, and rewarded across Amazon's global marketplaces. We are not a satellite team executing on upstream designs. Every architecture call, technical strategy, and delivery milestone across our four charters is owned end-to-end from Bangalore. As an SDM here, you won't be inheriting a stable system to operate. You'll be leading a foundational transformation — rebuilding how Amazon's seller fee and incentive platform works, at scale, from the ground up. What You'll Be Part Of Our 50-member team brings together Software Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engin BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of engineering experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
