Software Development Manager, Transact

- Lead and develop your engineering team to design, develop, deploy, and support key features of data movement tools while maintaining current system stability - Drive architectural initiatives that enable services to operate across regions while retaining critical business functions within specific regions - Build and nurture your team through recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and fostering a positive team culture where engineers grow and thrive - Connect with customers and cross-functional partners regularly to gather requirements, build the team roadmap, and collaborate with product and partner teams on new projects - Champion engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operational excellence BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 7+ years of engineering experience - 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
