Software Develpment Engineer II, Physical Stores Payments

- Design and develop cloud-native payment services for Just Walk Out stores and other physical retail formats - Implement secure payment integrations with multiple processors and payment methods - Develop real-time payment risk assessment and fraud prevention features - Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage - Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions - Debug and optimize payment services across distributed systems - Build monitoring and alerting for business-critical payment services - Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems - Document technical solutions and share knowledge with team members BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Bachelor's degree PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
