Solutions Architect - FSI, AGS-APJ-India-SA

Own the technical relationship with assigned FSI customers, acting as their trusted cloud advisor and driving architectural best practices across their AWS journey. Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions for banking core modernization, payments infrastructure, insurance platforms, and capital markets workloads. Conduct Well-Architected Reviews and provide actionable recommendations across reliability, security, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence pillars. Build and deliver Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical demonstrations to validate architectural approaches, accelerate customer decision-making, and remove technical blockers. Guide customers on adopting Generative AI and AI/ML services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Comprehend) for use cases such as document processing, fraud detection, customer engagement, and risk analytics. Partner with AWS Specialist teams (Analytics, Security, Migration, Containers, Serverless) to implement BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience - Knowledge of cloud architecture - Experience in networking fundamentals, security, databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows) - Knowledge of concepts like system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making - Experience in external enterprise customer-facing role as a technical lead, with strong oral and written communication skills, presenting to both large and small audiences - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent e PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in the financial services industry - Experience working with data and analytics - AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification - Experience with AI/ML technologies
