Design and implement scalable tax technology solutions using Python, generative AI, and modern development practices to solve complex tax processing challenges Define front-end architectures and user experiences, owning specific technical components while establishing best practices for model development and solution design Collaborate with tax professionals, Product Managers, and fellow Solutions Architects to translate customer requirements into technical specifications that engineering teams can execute Lead end-to-end solution architecture for tax technology projects, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and continuous process improvement as part of an autonomous team Mentor and develop other Solutions Architects by sharing technical expertise, facilitating knowledge transfer, and contributing to team growth through code reviews and technical guidance BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries - Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud - Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
