In this role you will: - Deliver a Best-in-Class customer experience by continuously improving platform, code and services that enable vendor payments - Build agentic solutions to improve the success of Global/World wide Vendor Payments reducing payment failures - Build services/integration to improve the scalability and extensibility of the new AP platform, Teller, to support high volume of business migration at scale - Design and Develop best integration patterns for our system across Tax modules including federated enrichments and validations. Leverage and integrate with different tools, technologies and products with in Amazon to reduce payments operational cost and enhance customer experience - Partner directly with other Software Development Engineers (SDEs), Technical Program Managers, Functional Analysts and Customers to understand features and continuously identify opportunities to build and deploy agentic solutions BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
