Sr. Software Development Engineer, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)

* You will solve ambiguous business problems and map them to well designed technical solutions * You will use object-oriented concepts, algorithms and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale * You will design, launch, and re-architect multi-tier systems with large amounts of data * You will quickly adapt to fast-paced development environment with bias towards simple and extensible code BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Experience in retail/E-commerce research in a global context
