Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon

This role is inherently cross-functional—this leader will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our existing products and features. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The leader will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. As a Sr TPM, you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to succe BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 8+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - 8+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership - - Experience driving multiple products through a complete lifecycle - - High Scale services experience - - Experience combining hardware & software development
