Tax Compliance Program Manager, Tax and Account Compliance

• Own defined workstreams within EU and UK tax compliance programmes, delivering risk assessments and control activities on time and to quality standards • Execute risk assessments using established methodologies, documenting findings clearly and escalating issues that exceed defined thresholds • Analyze EU/UK tax compliance regulations (e.g., VAT, DAC7, JSL, Deemed Reseller) and their implications for Amazon sellers, translating requirements into actionable deliverables • Support the development and maintenance of risk models and detection mechanisms to identify non-compliant or fraudulent seller behaviour related to tax obligations • Collaborate with legal, policy, finance, tax, tech, and product teams to execute programme plans and deliver operational controls for new and existing programmes • Track key risk indicators (KRIs) and programme metrics, producing status reports and flagging deviations to programme leadership • Prepare risk assessments, programme updates, and supporting materials for senior leadership reviews • Maintain audit-ready documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of risk and programme processes BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent - 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience - 2+ years of program or project management experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience using lean process improvement, six sigma methodologies, or related performance metrics/process improvements to increase efficiency within processes, forecasting, planning, optimization, or logistics - Knowledge of knowledge of VAT in EU/UK - Master's degree or equivalent - - Experience in tax, regulatory compliance, or financial services risk management
