Vendor Consultant - German, Fresh Vendor Consultant Program

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German. • Success will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience. • Partnering with Retail (AVS) Team to manage vendor relationship by championing the vendor’s needs at Amazon. • Build communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendors. • Build and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon. • Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience. • Conduct deep analysis on the handled issues for the vendors and develop recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience. • Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution. • Establish long term partnerships with key vendor BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of interacting with customers/stake holders experience - Experience using data to influence business decisions - Knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel (Array and Statistical formulas) - Speak, write, and read fluently in German - Experience managing projects and working independently - Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent - Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of one or more industry analytics visualization tools like Excel, Tableau, AWS QuickSight, MicroStrategy or PowerBI, and statistical methods like t-test or Chi-squared - Experience in creating process improvement procedures - Knowledge of tools such as Sharepoint, SIM-ticketing and project management tools as well as experience using scripts
